Kaya Byinshi invited to Sauti za Busara 2026 (VIDEO)

Kaya’s selection follows in the footsteps of Boukuru, who represented Rwanda at Sauti za Busara 2025. Her inclusion signals Rwanda’s growing presence on the continental music stage, especially in East Africa.

“This is a major step in my musical journey and a proud moment for Rwanda,” Kaya said.

She continues to be a voice for youth and women in Rwandan music, joining a rising wave of female talent including Sherrie Silver, Butera Knowless, and Alyn Sano.
