In a bold and emotionally charged statement, Nigerian music superstar Davido has stirred conversation by asserting that he is the only artiste among the Big 3 himself, Wizkid, and Burna Boy who genuinely prioritizes Nigerian fans. According to Davido, while his counterparts focus on selling out shows in Europe and America, he remains committed to touring within Nigeria and giving back to the community.
“I am the only artiste in Nigeria who cares about Nigerians. Wizkid and Burna Boy only care about money,” Davido reportedly said.
He emphasized that he continues to tour across Nigeria, allowing fans to experience the music they helped elevate to global fame. In contrast, he accused Wizkid and Burna Boy of rarely staying in Nigeria, claiming they leave shortly after arriving and do little to engage with local fans.
“I am always in Nigeria but anytime they enter Nigeria, they’ll leave the next minute. They don’t do giveaways like I do. They’re all stingy like GehGeh students,” he added.
