Two time champion! Bwiza crowned best dressed at Silver Gala
On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the BK Arena in Kigali lit up with elegance and excitement as Rwanda’s most iconic personalities gathered for The Silver Gala, a prestigious event that celebrates fashion, creativity, and celebrity culture.
Among the stars, Bwiza, the celebrated Rwandan singer, once again stole the spotlight by winning Best Dressed Woman, marking her second consecutive victory in this category.
Bwiza’s outfit, designed by Matheo Design, wasn’t just fashion, it was art with meaning. She wore a custom gown inspired by the symbolism of a tree, with modern interpretations of leaves and nature woven into the design.
“I tried to dress like a tree these are leaves, but in a modern way,” Bwiza explained in an interview with InyaRwanda. “I owe this trophy to Matheo Design. I’m truly happy.”
Her look fused visual storytelling, cultural depth, and avant-garde style, setting her apart from other contenders like Olivia The Design, Anitha Urayeneza, Mutesi Jolly, and Miss Nishimwe Naomie.
Bwiza walked away with a $1,000 cash prize, but the real win was her continued dominance in Rwanda’s fashion scene. Her ability to blend music, identity, and style has made her a standout figure not just on stage, but on every red carpet she graces.
Beyond her vocal talent, Bwiza is becoming a cultural icon, known for her bold fashion choices, confident presence, and deep understanding of visual storytelling. Whether performing or attending high-profile events, she consistently delivers style with substance.
With two Silver Gala wins under her belt and a growing reputation as a fashion-forward artist, Bwiza is redefining what it means to be a Rwandan celebrity. Her fusion of music and fashion continues to inspire a new generation of creatives.
