Rwanda participated in the 2025 Korea-Africa Senior Officials Meeting (SOM), hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, as a key platform to reflect on progress since the 2024 Korea-Africa Summit and to chart the next steps in advancing mutual development goals.

Representing Rwanda was Virgile Rwanyagatare, Director General for Asia, Pacific, and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
