Dani Alves has become a pastor after being acquitted of sexual assault charges, dedicating his life to faith and forgiveness.
After spending 14 months in Brians 2 Prison in Spain, Brazilian football legend Dani Alves was acquitted in March 2025 of sexual assault allegations that had halted his career and cost him millions in earnings. “You have to take the things of God seriously. I am proof of that. I made a pact with God.”
Despite the damage to his reputation and the loss of an estimated $65 million in career earnings, Alves has chosen not to pursue legal action against the woman who accused him. Instead, he says he has forgiven her, leaving vengeance to God.
